In 2015, the United Nations adopted the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, an opportunity for countries and their societies to embark on a new path to improve life around the world.
The Agenda includes 17 Sustainable Development Goals, ranging from eradicating poverty to combating climate change, promoting education, gender equality, protecting the environment and shaping our cities. Each goal contains specific targets to be achieved over the next 15 years.
