The German-language weekly newspaper Mallorca Zeitung, as part of its Fundamente Mallorca initiative, includes two articles signed by our lawyer from the Foreign Investments Area of Bufete Buades, Daniel Olabarria. The first of these, titled “Keine Freiheit für Mietvertrag” reflects on the conditions of lease agreements for homes and other uses, paying special attention to the clauses which should be included. The text titled “Was passiert wenn der (Ver-) Mieter stirbt?” details the contractual situation resulting from the death of the owner of a property (who may replace them in the agreement), with the tenants having the right to continue living in accommodation under the same agreement. It also explains the situation resulting from the death of the tenant.
