On 27 November, the prestigious legal publication Diario La Ley published an extensive article signed by our director, Joan Buades, analysing current application of the legal principle of “rebus sic stantibus” (Latin for “things thus standing”). This follows on from a novel judgement handed down by the Supreme Court on 30 June 2014, which addresses the treatment of this clause in depth.
