Interesting legal opinion article which is signed by our lawyer Luis Huerta in Diario de Mallorca addressing the new law on entrepreneurs and its direct application on grass-roots sports groups and organisations in the Balearic Islands. Controversy is assured given that said legislation requires sports clubs and cultural associations to regulate the services of their collaborators by means of part-time employment contracts, which has a direct impact on their inability to pay their tax liabilities, which in most cases will lead to the jobs disappearing.
