Mallorca Zeitung, the German weekly owned by Editorial Prensa Ibérica, features a judgement in favour of a Bufete Buades client as its cover story, and gives the judgement extensive coverage inside the magazine.  Bufete Buades, represented by the lawyer Llorenç Salvà, in conjunction with the De la Mata team, led the defence of a German citizen accused of tax fraud, in criminal proceedings, for having sold a property and failed to pay the non-resident transfer tax directly associated with the transaction. The essence of the judgement states that the simple fact of not having paid the tax does not necessarily indicate a citizen’s wilful intent to commit tax fraud.
