Important ruling in favour of our client's interests, the Palau de Congressos de Palma
The newspaper Última Hora has published a compelling article entitled “Court reduces Palau de Congressos compensation to Acciona by more than 80%.” which explains how, thanks to Bufete Buades’ appeal, Palma City Council has saved more than 11 million euros and therefore, all taxpayers, by reducing the initial 13.8 million euros compensation set at the first hearing to a quarter of that amount. The case has been defended by Miguel Reus, the firm’s managing partner, who has been in charge of conducting a detailed analysis of the extensive evidential documentation regarding expenses, as well as an exhaustive and thorough study of each and every one of the legal considerations included in the appeal at Palma’s Court of Appeal. It is no coincidence that the councillor for Tourism in Palma, Elena Navarro, has expressed “the government team’s satisfaction with the outcome of the appeal won by Bufete Buades“.
