Last Thursday’s edition on the 7th of March by the German newspaper: Mallorca Zeitung features an extensive report with an interview of an attorney from the Buades Legal law firm, Daniel Olabarría, regarding the registration of foreign investments and the mandatory investment statements for the non-residents who purchase property in Mallorca for amounts over half a million euros. Said foreign citizens must make this declaration before Spain’s Central Government since 1st of February and are reminded that the previous limit was three million euros.
