Miguel Reus Méndez

Graduate in Law from the University of the Balearic Islands in 1997.

University Specialist in Territorial and Urban Planning from the University of the Balearic Islands.

Postgraduate degree in Town Planning Valuations from the Polytechnic University of Catalonia.

Admitted to the Bar Association of the Balearic Islands in 1997. He joined the firm in July of the same year.

From his first days at the faculty he remembers the welcoming reflection of one of his professors: “in two days you will be on the street with your degree and then what…”. Of his beginnings as a lawyer, he will never forget the “I don’t know if I want to be a lawyer” he uttered at his first job interview. Despite the time that has elapsed, he says that, although he has not yet made up his mind, he is passionate about his profession.

He is currently an associate lecturer in the Department of Private Law at the University of the Balearic Islands and collaborator in the University Specialist Course on Spatial Planning and Urban Planning of the University of the Balearic Islands.

He abandons law for cycling whenever he can. Pedalling since he was thirteen years old, his legs have allowed him to climb the highest peaks in Europe: Alpe d’Huez, Tourmalet and the Mortirolo, among others.
